I want to say for the record that I admire the hell out of my fellow Holderness School alumnus, cyclist Tyler Hamilton, for what he’s doing right now on ‘60 Minutes’ and what he’s been through over the last two decades. Talking publicly—and privately with a grand jury—in alleging that his former teammate and friend, Lance Armstrong, did just as much doping as anybody else in the sport, is hugely complex in its motivation and deeply controversial.

My heart goes out to him.
